Safe Airway Society Annual Meeting Registration

 

The Safe Airway Society 2026 Annual Meeting is held in collaboration with the Airway Special Interest Group (SIG), with the SAS meeting and optional workshops taking place on Friday 28th August 2026 and the Airway SIG meeting being held on Thursday 27th August, 2026. Each meeting requires a separate registration to attend, though will be held at the same venue (Elysium Noosa - previously Sofitel). The registration link for the Airway SIG meeting will be provided at the completion of this registration form.

Optional Workshops

 

Optional airway workshops are available for an additional registration fee per workshop. 

 

The workshops will be held on Friday 28th August in two sessions (AM or PM). Places are limited. 

A choice of one of three 90-minute concurrent workshop stations (or a 45 min expert discussion station during the AM session only) will be offered within each workshop session. 

Participants may register for one or both sessions.

Workshop Session 1 (AM): 07:30 - 09:00

Registration from 07:15.

Coffee and pastries will be served to those attending the morning workshops. 

Expert discussion session runs from 08:15 - 09:00.

 

Workshop Session 2 (PM): 15:30 - 17:00

Registration from 15:00.

Coffee and afternoon tea will be served between the closing of the plenary sessions at 15:00 and the commencement of the afternoon workshops.

 

Workshop station options (choose 1 per session): 

  • Neck Rescue - 90 mins
  • Tracheostomy / Laryngectomy Emergencies - 90 mins
  • Hyperangulated Videolaryngoscopy / Video-Assisted Flexible Intubation (VAFI) - 90 mins
  • Airway Leads Small Group Discussion (Workshop Session 1 only) - 45 mins

NOTE: You are unable to select the same workshop twice (AM & PM).

Airway Special Interest Group Meeting

The ANZCA/ASA/NZSA Airway Special Interest Group meeting will be held prior to the Safe Airway Society annual meeting, on Thursday 27th August 2026 at the same venue (Elysium Noosa Resort), and requires a separate registration to attend.

Registrations for the Airway SIG meeting will be opening soon. An email will be sent out to SAS registered delegates once registration is available.
